Brief Description: This Resolution authorizes a temporary outdoor use program for the safe operation of local restaurants and retail establishments, as necessitated by the COVID-19 crisis, and to stimulate the local economy.

Purpose & Explanation
This Resolution will authorize a temporary outdoor use program for the safe operation of local restaurants and retail establishments, in compliance with regulations and orders implemented by the State of Ohio, as well as public health practices requiring social distancing between patrons and employees, as necessitated by the COVID-19 crisis.
Additionally, to allow for safe operations of restaurants and retails establishments and to stimulate the recovery of the local economy, enforcement of provisions of City ordinances relating to outdoor restaurant and retail use will be temporarily suspended.
