The Friends of Hudson Parks will pay for the study to be performed by Davey Resource Group. The delineation is the first step in planning for stream maintenance and restoration. As part of this project the Friends of Hudson Parks will also be volunteering with other community groups to remove invasive plant species in the park.

Purpose & Explanation

The Friends of Hudson Parks has received grant funding from the Western Reserve Land Conservancy for the wetland delineation study as part of the overall project to make improvements and restorations on the 65-acre Darrow Road Park, including a portion of the headwaters of Tinker’s Creek. The Friends of Hudson Parks and Tinkers Creek Watershed Partners will provide volunteers for invasive species removal.

Staff recommends that Council pass this resolution, affirming the acceptance of a wetland delineation study to be performed by Davey Resource Group provided by the Friends of Hudson Parks.
