Purpose & Explanation

State Farm grant funding could provide the Hudson Fire Department with an electronic fire extinguisher training tool that would allow them to train businesses, residents and students on proper use of a fire extinguisher.  The cost of the training tool is $15,328.15.  Currently the Fire Department must do all extinguisher training outdoors using live fire and charged extinguishers.  This training tool would allow them to conduct training indoors and in a more efficient manner.
