Legislative History
Council conducted its first reading of the proposed map amendment February 5, 2014.  Planning Commission recommended approval of the amendment following its public hearing on March 10, 2014.  Council discussions concerning the Hudson Crossing Parkway connection were active in 2008.
Purpose & Explanation
Staff has prepared brief reports outlining the status of the Hudson Crossing Parkway connection (formerly known as the Terex Road connection) between SR303 and Boston Mills Road and discussions it has had with Village of Boston Heights Mayor Bill Goncy about Pettit Road.
Timing Considerations
Council will have had its second reading of the proposed map amendment at its April 2 meeting.  A public hearing is scheduled for April 16.  Council must take action on the rezoning at its third reading at the same meeting.  Council must act within 20 days of its public hearing.  Council will not have a another meeting within twenty days of April 16.
