Brief Description: The 2019 fleet budget provides for the replacement purchase of one 60-foot aerial bucket truck for Hudson Public Power and the purchase and installation of associated aerial lift equipment. Staff wishes to proceed with the purchase of the cab and chassis and associated equipment.

Purpose & Explanation
Funding for the replacement (Year: 2005; Make: International; Mileage:40,000) purchase of one 60-foot aerial bucket truck for Hudson Public Power operations has been included in the 2019 fleet capital replacement budget. The new cab & chassis will be purchased from Valley Freightliner on the ODOT contract 023-19 at a purchase price of $75,596.
The associated aerial equipment and components required for the cab and chassis will be purchased from Utility Truck Equipment utilizing the OHIO STS purchasing contract #800463 at the purchase price of $163,695.
