Purpose & Explanation
Golf staff is requesting the replacement of the existing 2007 golf course contour mower as it has exceeded its useful life based on age, hours, and wear & tear. This replacement is in the 2023 budget for $68,000 (Budget Item in 2023 - Rotary Rough Mower Replacement). Since the budget price was obtained the price has increased by $5,541.08. Staff requests appropriation to cover this difference. Staff found one other distributor; however, the pricing was not competitive. That vendor was Century Equipment, and the mower quote was $116,502.00.
