A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF STATE ROUTE 8 CONCRETE ROAD PANELS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Executive Summary: This project consists of maintenance of traffic plan, removal of designated road concrete panels and replacement of the panels. The project will have lane closures along SR 8 during construction.

Purpose & Explanation
This legislation permits the City Manager to advertise in accordance with law a request for submission for competitive bids for the replacement of concrete panels along SR 8 in the City of Hudson.
Following the formal bidding process, the City Engineer will analyze the bids and then submit his recommendation for award to the City Manager and City Council along with the necessary legislation to enter into a contract with the successful bidder.
Timing Considerations
Upon authorization by City Council, the administration will advertise for bids.
