Res No. 21-8 - Adopted in Concept the Sidewalk and Trail Master Plan 2021-2025; 2/16/2021

Purpose & Explanation

Please see the attached information tracking the current status of the 2021-2025 Master Plan and a map noting future connections to consider for study with the next plan update.

Staff recommends Council proceed with a formal plan update in 2024.  Council could consider another round of community meetings/engagement in Jan-March 2024.  This timing would allow the key findings of the Draft Comprehensive Plan to be established.  Additionally, completion of a sidewalk and trail master plan by second quarter 2024 will allow recommendations to be incorporated with the budget discussion to occur in the second half of 2024.
