Brief Description: Representatives of Peg’s Foundation and city staff will present a proposed improvement plan for the downtown green adjacent to the Baldwin-Buss house project currently under construction.

Purpose & Explanation

Peg’s Foundation has approached City Staff inquiring about additional improvements to the City Green located just south of Park Lane.  Peg’s foundation staff will present the proposed green improvements concept plan for consideration by the City Council.

Proposed improvements:

1. Building façade improvements of south elevation of the Hudson Square building (private  Property). The proposed changes to the south elevation of the Hudson Square building will be addressed by Peg’s Foundation and the private property owner.  

2. Streetscape plantings

3. Sandstone sidewalks 

4. Low sandstone walls  and “Peg’s Foundation Plaque” at center of green

5. Existing Hudson Historic Markers

6. Sandstone wall.

7. Additional/replacement sidewalks 

8. Additional parking spaces on Park Lane
