Presentation to Council - Economic Development Marketing Plan
Executive Summary: On October 11, 2012 the City entered into an agreement with Atlas Advertising, LLC for professional services related to a marketing initiative for economic development in the City. Over the past eleven months we have been working on the pieces to this plan and are excited to share them with you tonight.

On October 3, 2013 Hudson City Council passed Resolution 12-112 authorizing the City Manager to enter into the aforementioned agreement.
Purpose & Explanation
In Section 2.6.1 of City Council's current Strategic Plan, the Economic Development Department is encouraged to develop a strategy and message to market Hudson as a great business location. Parts of Section 2.6.2 urge the design of a specific plan and the implementation of same.
Timing Considerations
Implementation would begin upon approval by City Council. If possible we would like to host a Hudson Familiarization Tour that will be targeted to all economic development partner organizations.
