Purpose & Explanation
The purpose of this Resolution is to authorize the City Manager to approve the purchase agreement with Virtual Dataworks to renew the use of Microsoft 365 for the City of Hudson. Microsoft 365 is a core software product installed on all City PCs throughout the organization.
In 2020, we migrated our email services from being hosted within the City’s network to the Cloud. The 365 subscription delivers the functionality needed to operate most effectively within a hybrid environment and provides additional tools for users including Microsoft Teams.
