Purpose & Explanation
In January 2021, the City sent out the RFP to five (5) ODOT qualified civil engineering consulting firms. The proposals were due on February 12, 2021. The City received four (4) formal proposals for the Project as listed below:

Following the review of the proposals and an interview with each consultant as to their ability to do the required work, along with their ODOT experience and understanding of the RFP, the City staff is recommending TranSystems Corporation of Ohio to perform the Middleton Road and Stow Road Sidewalk Improvement Project.
These consulting services include the survey, geotechnical analysis, preparation of preliminary engineering plans, multiple public meetings, Council meetings, exhibits, ODOT coordination at I-480 intersections, project specifications, cost estimates and other miscellaneous services described within this RFP with the intention to bid this project for construction in the Spring, 2022.
