Brief Description: The Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, provides a grant to assist EMS with purchase of approved training and equipment. Estimated funding is determined in June, based on the amount of funding available for the program. No matching funds are required.

Purpose & Explanation
The purpose of the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services Grant Program, administered by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, is to improve and enhance EMS and trauma patient care in Ohio through the provision of grant funding for equipment, training, and research. Hudson EMS wishes to pursue this grant for equipment purchases to be determined upon award amount.
