Purpose & Explanation

The purpose of the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire, and Transportation Services Grant Program, administered by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services, is to improve and enhance EMS and trauma patient care in Ohio through the provision of grant funding for equipment, training, and research. Hudson EMS wishes to pursue this grant for equipment purchases to be determined upon award amount.

Suggested Action

Staff recommends passage of this Resolution to affirm submission by the City Manager or City Manager’s Designee of an application to the Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of EMS for the Priority 1 Grant and accept if awarded.
