Brief Description: The projects include new sidewalk installations along the following roadways in Hudson as described in the 2023 Capital Budget: Stow Road (Hudson Springs Park to SR 303); SR 303 (N. Hayden Parkway to Stow Road); SR 303 (Stow Road to Stone Road); Middleton Road (Valley View Road to SR 91), Owen Brown Street (Lennox to Morse) and Franklin Street (Aurora Road to School Property).

Purpose & Explanation
These sidewalk projects have been designed by outside consultants and in-house staff and will include the installation of a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along Stow Road (Hudson Springs Park to SR 303); SR 303 (N. Hayden Parkway to Stow Road); SR 303 (Stow Road to Stone Road); Middleton Road (Valley View Road to SR 91), Owen Brown Street (Lennox Road to Morse Road) and Franklin Street (Aurora Road to School Property). The sidewalk construction includes storm drainage improvements, grading, crosswalks, lighting, and electric conduits, driveways, and minor clearing & restoration.
The estimated total cost of construction of the six (6) projects is $3,620,000.00, which includes contingency. The City will return to City Council if the cost exceeds the above total cost of the projects.
The projects are scheduled for construction in the spring and summer of 2023.
