Purpose & Explanation

This project will include the installation of a security system, hardware and wiring for the New City Hall Building located at 1140 Terex Road.  The proposed equipment will include alarms, cameras, detectors and security doors to protect the staff and public.

 

The estimated budget for this project is $90,000.  The City staff will return to City Council if the bids are more than 10% above this amount, including contingency.

 

The work will begin in September and be completed in October, 2019.

Staff recommends that City Council approve this authorization for the City Manager to advertise, receive bids, and enter into a contract for the proposed Security System Project at City Hall.
