Body

Purpose & Explanation

Lemonade Day is a national initiative to educate youth on how to start, own and operate their own business, using a lemonade stand to teach fundamental lessons about life, success, and giving back to community.

Community involvement is encouraged and needed to support this program in Hudson, including youths of all ages who want to become entrepreneurs, adults interested in supervising, businesses and investors who wish to partner with participants, and customers who wish to enjoy the fruits of these efforts.

Hudson City Schools, Hudson Montessori School, Seton Catholic School, Burton D. Morgan Foundation, Hudson Community Foundation, and the City of Hudson are actively supporting student participation in Lemonade Day.

Timing Considerations

Lemonade Day stands will be set up in Hudson throughout the month of May, 2019.
