Purpose & Explanation
The Tinker’s Creek Watershed Study evaluated the local stormwater system, specifically examining major streams, ponds, bridges, culverts, and trunk sewer mains.
The project aimed to create a detailed inventory of existing infrastructure while developing an updated hydrologic and hydraulic model. These tools were used to identify and prioritize solutions for major flooding issues and, where feasible, improve overall water quality. Findings from the study were recently shared during a public meeting at Hudson High School on April 23 and are now set for presentation to City Council. Once Council reviews the findings, the report will be finalized to serve as a foundation for future capital budget planning.
