Body
History
Professional Services Agreement with Pivot Marketing & Sales, authorized by City Manager on November 19, 2020.
Motion endorsing the City's sponsorship and management of the proposed Founders Day Parade; unanimously approved by City Council on May 18, 2021.
Purpose & Explanation
Pursuant to Section 6.04, the City Manager entered into an existing agreement on November 19, 2020 with Pivot Marketing and Sales for professional services relating to coordination of public education and municipal services and projects. Pivot Marketing and Sales has provided exceptional services. Initially, this agreement was intended to primarily include the design and content of "The Hudson Commons - Good News We Have in Common" publications online and in the Hudson Hub-Times. The subject agreement provides for compensation for services rendered at $65.00 per hour for 375 hours, not to exceed a total amount of $24,375.00.
In addition, with Council's endorsement of the City's sponsorship and management of Celebrate Hudson during the Labor Day weekend, this contractor has provided professional services relating to Celebrate Hudson, as directed by the City Manager, and we are nearing the maximum authorized hours payable for this agreement. Therefore, staff recommends that Council authorize an addendum to the existing agreement to provide additional funding in the amount of $13,000.00 for 200 hours of continued services.
