Purpose & Explanation

Staff seeks funding from the Georgia-Pacific Bucket Brigade for replacement of fire hoses.  The grant can provide up to $10,000 for the purchase of necessities such as turnout gear, breathing apparatus, water pumps, hoses and nozzles.

Grant application is due July 8, 2016.

Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager or her designee to apply for a grant from Georgia-Pacific Bucket Brigade for the purchase of fire hoses.
