Resolution 18-188 approved on December 18, 2018 authorized staff to seek competitive pricing on goods and services including landscaping services on greens and public properties.
Purpose & Explanation
Bids were received on August 20, 2019 for the landscaping services on the greens and public properties. The Public Works Department received only one bid submittal. Below is the total amount of the previous contract along with the respective bids.
Previous Contract: $36,346.00 annually
New Contract Bid
Vizmeg Landscape, Inc., $36,663.00 annually

The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with Vizmeg Landscape, Inc. for landscape maintenance services on the greens and public properties. This is a two-year contract with the option for a two-year renewal. The new bid represents a 0.86% increase in total contract price. Public Works staff is requesting a 10% contingency for any unforeseen issues that may arise during the life of the contract. The total amount would be $40,329.30 annually.
Total Annual Contract = $40,329.30 = $36,663.00-base + $3,666.30-contingency
