Executive Summary:  City Staff would like to add the asphalt overlay of Warrensburg Circle to the current 2015 Concrete Replacement and Overlay Program.

Purpose & Explanation
As discussed at the Special Workshop held on April 11, 2015 city staff would like to include the asphalt overlay of Warrensburg Circle.  The total cost to overlay Warresnburg Circle with asphalt is $47,475.00.  Staff would also like to include a 10% contingency for any unforeseen issues that may arise during construction.  The total amount would be $52,222.50.
City Administration is asking for an appropriation to the 430 fund for the above amount.
Timing Considerations
Upon authorization to proceed by the City Council, the administration will issue a Change Order to the contract with Catts Construction, Inc.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends that City Council approve this Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a change order to the 2015 Concrete Replacement and Overlay Program, and we are requesting an emergency clause be added to this legislation in order to maintain the public health and welfare.
