Purpose & Explanation
It is customary to publicly recognize and formally thank citizens who have volunteered their time and talents as a member of a Council-appointed meeting body. Mr. Dostal was appointed to the Planning Commission on October 5, 2011, to serve an unexpired term ending January 1, 2014. In addition, he served as a member of the Planning Commission during the years 2000 through 2002.
Timing Considerations
Mr. Dostal's term expired on January 1, 2014, and he did not seek re-appointment to the Planning Commission.
