Purpose & Explanation

EMS Outreach of Hudson raises funds and provides programs to support health and safety initiatives within our community.  EMS Outreach of Hudson approached staff about adding two outdoor automatic external defibrillators in the downtown area.  These two AED’s in temperature-controlled boxes would be available year-round for use during special events and by patrons at surrounding businesses and restaurants. Proposed locations are on the First & Main Green and between the Clocktower and Gazebo Greens.  EMS Outreach of Hudson raised $4000.00 for the purchase and installation of these units. These temperature-controlled units are the same as the units that were deployed through donations in the Hudson Parks.
