File No. 20-0119, follow-up discussion regarding downtown redevelopment with Fairmount Properties at Council workshop of September 8, 2020.
Motion No. 20-0127, "A motion to instruct City staff to begin the process of negotiating the sale of the Phase 2 property to Fairmount Properties for the purpose of undertaking a residential development on the Phase 2 property, consistent with the general concepts presented by Fairmount to Council, which development will be subject to approvals by Planning Commission and Architectural Review Board and otherwise required by the Land Development Code"; failed on September 15, 2020.
File No. 21-0076, Fairmont Properties presented a proposed conceptual plan for the Downtown Phase 2 properties for discussion at the Council workshop of September 14, 2021.

Purpose & Explanation
City Council members are currently considering the attached Concept Plan submitted by Fairmount Properties for development of Downtown Phase 2. Representatives will be present to provide an overview and respond to questions.
Written public input will be collected at the special workshop / open house on October 21, 2021, and online comments will be accepted via the City's website after the open house. Details regarding additional open house date(s) will be provided as they become available.
