Purpose & Explanation

The City of Hudson Cemeteries seeks funding to assist with exceptional maintenance in Draper Cemetery. The project goal is to replace 27 gravesite stones that are in disrepair. Total project cost expected to be $15,000. Stone replacement project is currently scheduled for 2024.

Staff recommends Council pass this Resolution, retroactively authorizing the City Manager’s Designee to submit an application to the Ohio Department of Commerce Cemetery Grant for exceptional maintenance in Draper Cemetery and acceptance of any awarded funding.
