Executive Summary: The Summit/Akron Solid Waste Management Authority (dba ReWorks) provides the Community Recycling Access Grant to Summit Communities to assist in meeting the goals and objectives of the State of Ohio’s Solid Waste Plan.

Purpose & Explanation
The Summit/Akron Solid Waste Management Authority (dba ReWorks) awarded $22,262.00 in grant funding to support the City’s recycling collection facility, leaf collection, and related expenses.
Timing Considerations
After 30 days from passage of this Resolution, staff will submit a request to ReWorks for reimbursement of related expenses.
