Purpose & Explanation
This legislation permits the City Manager to advertise in accordance with law a request for submission for competitive bids for the demolition of all buildings at the former Youth Development Center property on Hines Hill Road in the City of Hudson and to do so at the most appropriate time upon completion of the bid specifications for the demolitions by the City Engineer's office.
 
Following the formal bidding process, the City Engineer will analyze the bids and then submit his recommendation for award to the City Manager and City Council along with the necessary legislation to enter into a contract with the successful bidder.  
Timing Considerations
It is anticipated that the formal bidding process may occur during the first quarter of 2013.
