Executive Summary:  The Summit County Safety Council has created a grant program to purchase one Automated External Defibrillator annually for one entity located in Summit County.

Purpose & Explanation

This grant from the Summit County Safety Council could provide funding up to $2,000 for a new Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) to replace one aging device belonging to the City of Hudson.

Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to apply for grant funding from Summit County Safety Council for one Automatic External Defibrillator.
