Purpose & Explanation
This sidewalk design is completed and will include the installation of a 5-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along Owen Brown Street, signs and painted stop bars for two-way, one-lane traffic, storm improvements, landscaping, lighting, telecommunication conduits, razed curb and railing.
We hope to receive the railroad permit within the coming months on this work. The permit was reviewed and resubmitted by our consultant, and we are awaiting approval.
The estimated total cost of construction is $375,000, which includes a 15% contingency due to cost surcharges from post Covid.
