Body

Legislative History

Purpose & Explanation

The City of Hudson currently has received $680,000 from the One Time Strategic Community Investment Planning Fund by Sen. Weinstein and Sen. Roegner.  The City has also received $430,000 from Summit DD/ARPA for the playground equipment and the City is currently storing this equipment which is to be installed when the location is approved.  The City has budgeted $400,000 for this playground improvement and the private citizen group has raised money through Hudson Community Foundation to help fund this playground.

The City staff will go over the two locations identified by the Hudson Park Board including Hudson Springs Park and Barlow Farm Park locations for the proposed playground.  We will provide the pros and cons of each site, a matrix and cost estimates.
