Purpose & Explanation

Summit County Reworks provides an annual grant to financially support residential infrastructure for recycling or organics diversion within Summit County communities. For the purpose of this request, the City has determined the best use of funds is to offset personnel costs associated with the annual fall leaf pick up. Total award is based upon a formula determined by Reworks following grant application submittal, but the City could receive an estimated award of $22,000. Grant does not require match funds. The reimbursement request for funds is submitted at the end of the fiscal year.
