A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL CONGESTION MITIGATON/AIR QUALITY FUNDS (“CMAQ”) PROGRAMMED BY THE AKRON METROPOLITAN AREA TRANSPORTATION STUDY (“AMATS”) TO CONSTRUCT ADAPTIVE SIGNALS OUTSIDE OF DOWNTOWN SYSTEM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Purpose & Explanation
This is a request to submit an application to AMATS for Federal CMAQ funding assistant for the following project:
1.) Adaptive Signals Outside of Downtown System
Total Estimated Project Cost: $2,300,000
CMAQ Fund Request: $1,840,000
The right-of-way acquisition & construction cost funding will be split 80%/20% (Federal/City). The City of Hudson will be required to perform all engineering and any other misc. improvements costs at 100% local funds.
