Resolution No. 12-112, Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into an Agreement with Atlas Advertising, LLC for Professional Services for the Branding and Marketing Initiative for Economic Development in the City, passed on October 3, 2012.
Purpose & Explanation
The City Administration is requesting City Council approval to authorize the City Manager to award and enter into a six-month contract with The Impact Group to provide marketing services for the implementation of the Economic Development Marketing Initiative. The scope has been modified to incorporate a sustainable approach to support and align with Council's strategic initiatives. The total cost for the six-month contract is $25,500.
Timing Considerations
Upon authorization to proceed by the City Council, the administration will award and enter into a contract with the Impact Group for the above amount for the months of January 2015 through June 2015.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends that City Council approve this Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award and enter into a contract with The Impact Group; and staff further requests an emergency clause be added to this legislation.
