Purpose & Explanation
The 0.1229 acre subject parcel is located along Park Lane and is the former location of the building which historically occupied the Merino Beer and Wine business. The building was relocated in 2005 as part of the First and Main development when Park Lane was realigned to its present state. As part of the proposed Park Lane Square project, City Staff is requesting the parcel be formally dedicated as city right-of-way to accommodate the Park Lane Square Cultural Campus project. On-street parking would be built by the developer along the south side of the parcel, as depicted in the attached on-street parking map as part of the approved site plan per Planning Commission Case No. 21-1046.
Planning Commission reviewed the application on December 13, 2021, and forwarded a recommendation to approve the proposed application.
