Purpose & Explanation
In order to help alleviate negative impacts of COVID-19 and Ohio’s Stay at Home Order for Hudson’s small businesses, this Resolution authorizes implementation of a Temporary Small Business Utility Relief Program.

Does this legislation require use of an emergency clause?
X Yes. With emergency language, this Resolution would become effective immediately upon passage, which is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary in order to retain employment opportunities and protect local small businesses during the uncertain economic time of a disease pandemic.
