Purpose & Explanation
Historically the City of Hudson has had Hudson Public Power cost of service and rate studies developed by consulting firms specializing in electric utilities.  The results of such studies have been used as guidelines for City Councils as they considered the Hudson Public Power operational costs of service and potential adjustments of commercial and residential electric rates.
Over the last ten years two (2) HPP costs of service and rate studies have been completed. The most recent rate adjustments were approved by Hudson City Council in 1996.
