A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THAT ALL FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE COUNTY CORONAVIRUS RELIEF DISTRIBUTION FUND WILL BE EXPENDED ONLY TO COVER COSTS OF THE CITY OF HUDSON, OHIO, CONSISTENT WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 5001 OF THE CARES ACT AS DESCRIBED IN 42 U.S.C. 601(d), AND ANY APPLICABLE REGULATIONS AS ARE NECESSARY PURSUANT TO H.B. 481 BEFORE RECEIVING SAID FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Brief Description: The Fund created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is designed to provide ready funding to address unforeseen financial needs and risks created by the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff is seeking federal funding through the CARES Act for the cost of unbudgeted city services required to respond to and mitigate the COVID-19 public health emergency. These costs must be incurred between March 1, 2020 and December 30, 2020.
