Purpose & Explanation
The Veteran's Trail, all-purpose pathway system was originally conceived in the 2000 Hudson Parks Master Plan. The original alignment of the Veterans Trail Phase 2 segment was from Hines Hill Road, along Prospect Street over the Ohio Turnpike to Morse Road and then into downtown (see exhibit attached).
As part of the original Veterans Trail Phase 2 project, the Prospect Street bridge over I-80 would need modified to accept the width of the new trail.
