A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF FOUR BASEBALL SCORE BOARDS AT BARLOW FARM PARK FROM THE KIWANIS CLUB OF HUDSON AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION THEREFOR; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Brief Description: Hudson Kiwanis Baseball has been facilitating baseball for Hudson youth for 47 years. The Kiwanis Club of Hudson has been instrumental with the league and the park facilities. The Kiwanis Club of Hudson wishes to supply four scoreboards, materials and installation to be located at Barlow Farm Park under the supervision of the Parks Department.

Purpose & Explanation
The Kiwanis Club of Hudson would like to provide and install the new scoreboards that have been approved by the Park Department to enhance league playability and player experience and ask that the City Council consider the acceptance of a donation of four (4) scoreboards to be installed this year. The scoreboards will be located at the four ballfields located at Barlow Farm Park
Timing Considerations
If Council grants approval, the hope is for the scoreboards to be installed as soon as possible to be used this baseball season.
