Brief Description: City Staff would like to discuss with City Council and the Mayor, the purpose, methods and solutions identified when studying or analyzing roadway intersections. The traffic consultant, TMS Engineers, Inc., will present a basic outline of intersection studies and evaluations.

The traffic consultant, TMS Engineers Inc., will present a basic outline of intersection studies and evaluations including review of congestion mitigation improvements and safety enhancements for both vehicle and pedestrian users.
Agenda for the Meeting on September 22, 2020:
1. Intersection Traffic Control Types.
2. When to Use Each Type.
3. Potential Funding Sources for Future Improvements.
4. Recent Traffic Safety Study Updates.
Timing Considerations
With Council’s input, staff will return to provide preliminary designs and cost estimates for various improvements.
