Resolution 12-130 directed the City Manager to enter into a contract with Aaron Landscape, Inc. for the contract term of December 1, 2012 to November 30, 2014, with the ability to extend or renew the contract for an additional two years.
Purpose & Explanation
Aaron Landscape, Inc. is the general landscape services contractor for small projects and time and materials maintenance of public properties, downtown landscaping, and Greens shrubs and landscape beds.  Aaron was the low bidder for the contract term of 2012 to 2014.  Aaron has performed quality work for the City of Hudson, and wishes to extend their contract through 2015 and 2016 term with no change to the current unit pricing. A bid tabulation has been attached for review.
Timing Considerations
The current contract expires November 30, 2014.  City staff wishes to have a contract in place prior to December 1, 2014.

Suggested Action
Staff recommends that City Council authorize and direct the City Manager to renew the current general landscaping services contract with Aaron Landscaping, Inc., 14900 York Rd.,North Royalton OH 44133, for December 1, 2014 to November 30, 2016, at the submitted unit prices, in a total amount not to exceed $207,000 annually.
