Purpose & Explanation
EMS has a 2013 Ford Explorer that was replaced in February of 2024.We attempted to sell the vehicle “as is” on Gov Deals with a reserve listed at the Kelly Bluebook value of $15,000. Our highest bid was $7,500. After the auction closed, we received two private offers for the vehicle. Church Hill Rescue Squad offered $10,000 and Valley Fire District offered $7,510. Due to unexpected vehicle breakdowns, the Church Hill Rescue Squad has an urgent need for the vehicle.
