Executive Summary: This Resolution provides recognition and thanks to Mr. David Mansky for his dedicated service as a member of the Park Board.

Purpose & Explanation
It is customary to publicly thank citizens who have volunteered their time and talents as a member of a Council-appointed meeting body. Mr. Mansky was appointed to fulfill an unexpired term on the Park Board on July 19, 2006, and he was re-appointed for additional terms in 2008 and 2012. During his tenure, Mr. Mansky served as Park Board President beginning in March 2013 through his resignation. Mr. Mansky provided guidance and oversight during the construction of Veterans Way Park, the Turnpike Trail, and Maple Grove Park. His thorough analyses of programming, activities and events will also be missed.
Timing Considerations
Mr. Mansky resigned from the Park Board on March 3, 2014.
