Purpose & Explanation
It is customary to publicly recognize and formally thank citizens who have volunteered their time and talents as a member of a Council-appointed meeting body. Dr. Rigby was appointed to the Park Board on August 20, 2008, to serve an unexpired term, and was subsequently re-appointed for an additional term.
Timing Considerations
Dr. Rigby's term expired on July 5, 2013, and he did not seek re-appointment to the Park Board.
