Brief Description:  The City staff would like to discuss Pedestrian Safety with City Council and the Mayor.

Purpose & Explanation

The City Staff would like to discuss with City Council and the Mayor the following agenda items regarding Pedestrian Safety including:

1. The Traffic Safety Committee. 

2. The Pedestrian Crash History Map.

3. The Matrix of the recent pedestrian issues.

4. The City of Hudson Policies for Traffic Calming Improvements and Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon Signs.

 

The Traffic Consultant will be available at the meeting for questions regarding the traffic solutions and recommendations following the discussion of the matrix.

Following the discussion with City Council, staff will proceed with the recommendations as approved by the City Council.
