Purpose & Explanation
On March 2, 2005 City Council passed Ord. 05-30 under section 1060.04 which authorizes the City Manager to adjust cemetery rates for goods and services on an annual basis upon the recommendation of the Cemetery Superintendent and the Cemetery Board. Any such rate adjustments may not exceed 5% annually. With the passage this Ordinance, Codified Ordinance sections 1060.01 - Cemetery Charges and 1060.03 - Columbarium Niche Prices are no longer needed and need to be repealed as they are superseded by section 1060.04 -Annual Increases.
