Title

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A HUDSON EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE VEHICLE NO LONGER NEEDED FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Brief Description:  This Ordinance authorizes the sale of an EMS vehicle to Valley Fire District.

Purpose & Explanation

EMS has a 2008 Ford Explorer that was due to be replaced however, due to the retirement of an EMS employee and the subsequent re-assignment of his duties, the vehicle no longer needs replaced.  The Valley Fire Department has an immediate need for the vehicle.  The EMS Department reviewed the Kelly Blue Book and determined a fair market price for the vehicle was $5,000. 

Valley Fire has agreed to pay $5,000 “as is”.
