Purpose & Explanation

For several months, the City administration and Council have considered and discussed the acquisition of property owned by Ramco Associates, located at 5369 Hudson Drive and 1220 and 1239 Hudson Gate Drive; and this Resolution authorizes a purchase agreement for the City’s acquisition of the subject property.  The City will relocate its public power facilities from the Downtown area to the Ramco Property in order to proceed with the planned Downtown Redevelopment Phase II Project.

Timing Considerations

This Resolution will be effective immediately upon passage.
