Brief Description: Staff is requesting permission to use an online auction to dispose of unneeded, obsolete, or unfit equipment. These items were acquired during the purchase of 94 Owen Brown Street and cannot be repurposed for other City usage.

Purpose & Explanation
Staff has received pricing from several local auctioneers. All of these auctioneers recommended and provided pricing for an online auction of items obtained through the purchase of 94 Owen Brown Street. City of Hudson Ordinance 208.03 establishes that the City Council must approve the list of items to be auctioned. Please see the attached list of items for consideration.
Timing Considerations
With passage of this legislation, the City Manager can enter into a contract for the online auction, beginning 30 days after passage.
