Council has discussed this topic on many occasions, most recently at the special workshop meeting regarding the 5-Year Plan on November 19, 2012. In addition, at September 5, 2012, Council meeting, a motion was made by Mr. Jeffers, seconded by Dr. Williams, to authorize demolition of all former Youth Development Center buildings. The motion failed by the following vote: Aye: 3 - Mr. Jeffers, Mr. Kelemen and Dr. Williams; Nay: 3 - Mr. DeSaussure, Mr. Hanink and Mr. Basil; Absent: 1 - Mr. Wooldredge.
